Dinamika Pertelevisian Indonesia

Dulu waktu saya lagi sakit tipes, ngga banyak kegiatan yang bisa dilakuin karena jangankan berdiri, duduk aj susah (krna pusing). So, saya menghbiskan bnyk waktu di kamar sambil nonton TV. Saya akan membuat kronologi acara TV yang saya tonton:
Pagi: gosip, gosip, dan gosip. Plus acara musik macem Dahsyat, Kissvaganza.
Siang: wtf, ga ada acara yang bener nih. Reality show pengumbar aib merajalela (saya lupa nama acaranya tapi ya intinya gtu2 aj, bnyk omongan an##ng, go***og, pe##k, bit##, pel***r yang disensor trus ada adegan marah2, adegan kebetulan ketemu orang yg dicari lah, ini lah, itulah)
Sore: acara musik lagi nih (playlist). Gila ni acara 2 jam durasinya.
Malem: all about sinetron…….. (males jelasinnya, lagian lo lo pada jga dah pada tau ad sinetron ap aj)

Dari sekian banyak acara yg saya tonton, yang bermanfaat seperti tidak ada dan tersembunyi. Apakah berita acara yang bagus? Menurut saya sekarang mah engga. Beritanya tentang kriminal mulu. Klo beritanya tentang politik, terkesan menjatuhkan salah satu partai. Berita bagusny jarang ada.
Menurut saya yang bagus mah acara laptop si unyil, education tv, acara sport. Klo ga slah ada lgi tapi lupa. Pokoknya saya udah nyebutin beberapa yg bgus. Hehe…

Saran saya mending pasang TV kabel yang didalamnya terdapat channel mantabb macam BBC, NatGeo, Discovery, HBO, ESPN, Star World. Channel2 tersebut menayangkan tema2 yg berbobot dan berilmu pengetahuan. Contohnya TV series di Star World. Beda jauh banget sama sinetron Indonesia yg klo saya perhatiin cuma jual tampang artisnya, percakapannya tidak berbobot, dan aktingnya nangis mulu (yg ini ga smua).

Are You Having This Problem With Sonar?

1. You can’t scan for VST because the tab greyed out.
2. You can’t use the VST because if you click on them, there will be an error message

I had this problem when I installed Sonar 8. The ‘scan for VST’ greyed out. And I was insanely stressed out with this problem since I didn’t know how to solve it. Finally, after a long time of searching, I found solutions to this problem:
1. All the greyed out stuff maybe caused by the failure of configuration. To solve this, hold shift while you open Sonar. If this works, a box will appear. Just wait until the box’s gone and Sonar will start eventually. Check the global menu and see if there’s any change on that.
2. Run regedit
Go to this key in the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software\Cakewalk VST
Note what the string "VSTScanPath" is set to.
Now go to the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cakewalk Music Software\SONAR Producer\Cakewalk VST
Note what the string "VSTScanPath" is set to there.

These strings should both point to the proper location of VstScan.exe, typically C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Utilities\VstScan.exe

If either string is incorrect or missing you can fix this problem by adding the appropriate string manually into the registry.
3. The problem is because somehow the Plugin Manager tools menu registration is incorrect or perhaps you ran an older version of the plugin manager.

To fix this, open a dos box, navigate to the new version of plugin manager in the shared utilities folder. Then run plugin manager with the /Register flag as below:
PluginManager /Register

This should reset the tools menu settings to the new values.

The tools menu registration for the plugin manager are here in the registry if you want to check them:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software\Tools Menu\SONAR Plugin Manager
The "CmdArgs" value should be "/ParentWnd$ /VSTInventoryRegKey$" for it to work properly from the tools menu. .

I tried number 1 and it worked. You don’t have to perform all of them since the first solution alone is enough to help you out. I found these solutions at the Cakewalk Forum. The credit doesn’t go to me because I only used the first choice. I can’t answer questions that are related with the second and third solutions.

Ps: don’t worry, this solutions work on Sonar 6, 7, and 8

Vierra, another Plagiator?

Baru-baru ini saya menonton sebuah acara musik di TV yang menampilkan Vierra sebagai bintang tamu. Mereka adalah sebuah band pendatang baru yang melejit lewat lagu “Dengarkan Curhatku” (klo ga salah).
Ketika mereka membawakan lagu andalannya, everything’s fine. Tapi kok pas bagian reffnya, terdengar kayak Rooftops nya Lostprohets y? Cuma beda pas bagian akhir reff aj. Tapi dari segi not dan jumlah ketukan, persis sama. Temponya bahkan sama pula!! (ya……mungkin cuma beda 10 atau 15). Kalo pake kata-kata doang, susah jelasinnya. Mendingan kamu download aja kedua lagu tersebut dan membandingkan keduanya.
Setelah itu saya berpikir, apakah Vierra adalah plagiator? Karena mereka mengingatkan saya pada D’Masiv yang juga dihujat abis-abisan belakangan ini karena dianggap plagiator (katanya sih hampir semua lagu D’Masiv ngikutin band lain).
Ok. Jadi, sebuah band pasti terinfluence band lain. Tapi……..dlm proses penciptaan lagu, harus dipikir matang2 dan dirasakan apakah lagunya mirip band lain atau tidak. Boleh mirip asal jangan mirip2 banget. Be creative.
So the conclusion is……..boleh menciptakan lagu dan terinfluence band lain, tapi jangan memplagiat lagu band influence...pay them respect.

Nb: Ternyata memplagiat lagu orang bisa menyebabkan kita dituntut, nah lo…

Glory, Glory Manchester United!

Yep, glory for MU karena kemarin malam mereka berhasil mempertahankan gelar juara Liga Inggris setelah menahan imbang Arsenal tanpa gol. Saya sih tidak sempat menonton (karena stasiun TV di Indonesia ga punya hak siar Liga Inggris) tapi sempat menyaksikan selebrasinya.
Salut deh buat MU, mereka jago banget musim ini. Sayangnya piala FA mereka lepas begitu aja. Padahal kalo mereka ngalahin Everton (hell they could’ve) mereka masih punya chance buat meraih quintuple.

Tantangan terakhir yang harus dilewati MU bisa dibilang adalah yang terberat karena mereka harus mengalahkan tim sekelas Barca yang notabene powerful dan memiliki faktor luck yaitu menang-dibantu-wasit (huehehe).
